For the first half of the exchange, we spent 2 days at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School and Wakefield Girls High School in Wakefield, England. We followed our host students as they went from class to class. On our last day in Wakefield, some of the exchange students brought me to a small outdoor mall nearby. We had dinner at a Chinese buffet, went to a local game store, and then walked to a large park nearby, where we played soccer (or "football") for a couple hours before splitting up to pack our bags for the trip to London. I greatly enjoyed my time in Wakefield, whether we were walking through old coal mines or go-karting after school. Wakefield, though small, had a lot of interesting places go and was filled with wonderful people to meet. I hope to visit Wakefield again in the future.
